Restart the Windows Firewall service on the computer that you are managing [obviously, that is not possible]. Error code: 0x6D9." My operating system is Windows 7, 64bit version. All recent Windows updates are installed. I have Malwarebytes installed and ran a scan recently, with no results except for one tracking cookie. I also have Sophos Antivirus installed, which also did not find anything when I ran a scan. Perhaps somebody could be so generous and tell me what I could do about this? If i click on windows firewall nothing happens. I checked and the service is running. I tried to stop and start the service and it is successful but still no luck with accessing the firewall settings. My user is listed as an administrator so that isnt the issue either. I have been looking around and with no luck have found a solution for this any help is appreciated. Also I have ran malware scans and nothing comes up. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. #1 kenredx, Feb 19, 2010 cybercore New MemberJoined:Jul 7, 2009Messages:15,823Likes Received:321 Hi and welcome to the windows7forums.
