I did a complete scan with MalwareBytes(it was clean), and even copied the inetcpl.cpl file from my laptop to the desktop and dropped it in the directory. I am still getting this error ! Also I cannot get my "Internet Options" to work from the Control Panel. This locked too. Any ideas. Thanks,Jay Answer This Ask For Clarification Discussion is locked Flag Permalink You are posting a reply to: Windows 7 \Windows\System32\inetcpl.cpl The posting of advertisements, profanity, or personal attacks is prohibited.

I have Windows 7 and Under updates I don't see anything about Internet Explorer. Also I went under programs and don't see any Internet Explorer program. If I need to install it, where should I go and how long does it usually take to download? Sorry for the hassle.
