I went to start it up and I am getting 2 short beeps with 2 error codes 00161 and 00163. The machine displays and error box and when I open this box it display a box to set time and date. I set it and it will not start the windows program. I noticed after I set the time and date it will not change. The time stays were I set it even after I shut it off and try to reboot. I think I may have a Bios battery problem. How do you find and change the battery in a thinkpad? This also means that your laptop's hard drive will not be recognized until you go into the CMOS Setup, make sure "Auto-detect hard drive" (or similar) is selected, (and while you're in there go
