Was watching TV and inadvertently unplugged HDMI cable. When I plugged it back in, it didn't work. I disconnected power to the box, and reconnected. I get a sequence of messages, and saw the "boot" message, then the box powered itself off, ignoring the power switch. I figured the same thing, and replaced the box today.Brought the box home, and plugged it it without connecting to the TV. It worked (or at least it booted). Then I connected the HDMI cable. It didn't work. I unplugged/replugged the Explorer 4250c. Same symptoms as the previous box. Is it possible for an HDMI cable to damage this unit? 0 Kudos Posted by plaucerica 08-12-2011 09:25 PM Visitor Member Since: 08-12-2011 Posts: 1 Message 2 of 4 (9,060 Views) Re: Explorer 4250c won't power on / boot Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Report Same problem here.
