I don't know if this is related to #14040, but I'm using the latest beta, which supposedly fixed that issue.. Are there any logs I can provide to help debug? Update: I also tried version 5.0.3-102467-Win, with the same results. Update2: Also tried 5.0.2-102096-Win for good measure, same results. Then reinstall 5.0.4. It wouldn't finish the install. I then figured out how to get a log file of the install. Best I can tell, this is the install error that causes the rollback. The reason was that I had another VM running in VirtualBox. Open VirtualBox and shut down every VM running Restart VirtualBox On Mac: sudo /Library/StartupItems/VirtualBox/VirtualBox restart Edit: Previous solution assumes that VirtualBox is started with the system while following is more generic: sudo "/Library/Application Support/VirtualBox/LaunchDaemons/VirtualBoxStartup.sh" restart (tks @pazhyn) You should now be able to run vagrant up or vagrant reload and have your new host configured. share|improve this answer edited Oct 22 '14 at 13:13 answ
