Randomly, when trying to access a webpage, the browser will return the error "Unable to unable to establish a connection to the bomgar box connect to proxy server". All other web-accessing things work fine - Twitter apps continue to update, unable to establish a connection to the authentication service dirsync I can still send and receive emails, online games, Amazon and Ebay apps still work, the Youtube app is fine, Whatsapp has no problem.
Unable To Establish A Connection To The Server
The Google search function will still work, and will return me the usual list of websites in response to a query, but if I try to access any of those search results, I get the proxy error. The only https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/translate/BxhfSc5sBQo;context-place=forum/translate way I can clear it is to go into the application manager in settings, find the Internet app, force close it and clear the cache, and then it'll all work fine again, for a while, until the next time it decides to die on me. I can't say for sure whether I only get this problem when I use Wifi, but certainly most of the time that's when it happens. It's a Note 3, running Android 4.3, using the http://androidforums.com/threads/unable-to-connect-to-proxy-server.819124/ standard Internet browser. Any ideas? Anybody else having the same issue? Sadly, I've just had a look, and it is indeed set to "None", so now I'm even more confused. I haven't had the error yet today, but I did get the same issue yesterday - once while at work using my office's "guest" wifi, and once at home, using my own. >headscratch< ;-) Jan 16, 2014 #3 Vahag New Member Joined: Oct 16, 2014 Messages: 2 Likes Received: 0 Rukbat, just registered here to say THANK YOU! My phone almost killed me these days, and I solved the problem the way you described. Thanks a lot! Oct 16, 2014 #4 snig New

If you get an error that says "Cannot establish a secure connection," it is probably due to one of the unable to establish following reasons: Your system time is off Your computer will compare your system date to the expiration date of our SSL certificate. If your system time is stuck in the past or so far in the future that it is outside of Dropbox's SSL certificate expiration date, a secure connection will not be established. This is easily corrected by changing your system time to the current date. You have a proxy or firewall blocking the Dropbox service Dropbox uses standard internet ports (80 and 443) to transfer data. However, many firewalls and security software (such as antivirus programs) will proactively block unauthorized or unknown internet services. Add Dropbox to your proxy or firewall settings as an exception to connect to the Dropbox service. Known issues with ESET Endpoint Security Solutions: According to ESET's website, this product currently has a conflict with Dropbox when SSL scanning is enabled. Possible workarounds are to exclude the Dropbox certificate within the "Ask about non-visited sites" mode, as well as to exclude dropbox.exe from protocol filtering as shown here. I am able to stream media from PMS to my Roku (in another room), to any of the devices, or to another PC over the internet. My troubleshooting steps: I uninstalled/reinstalled the Plex for PlexPass Android app I tried the paid (non PlexPass) Android app I restarted the phones/tablets/pc/router and even my cable modem I restarted PMS on my pc and then again restarted my PC I unplugged my TV I unplugged the Chromecast (unplugged the USB power and removed it from the TV's HDMI port) I switched HDMI ports on the TV I am still able to use Netflix on my Chromecast I factory reset my Chromecast Everything was working fine on Sunday, April 6, but on Monday I was unable to cast anything. As of typing this message the problem still occurs. 0 carlwouters Posts: 9Members, Plex Pass April 2014 Exactly the same issues here on Desktop PC server... 0 AsphyxNY
