Loi Unable To Open The Script File
2013 7:10 AM by Jon Fritz II Error unable to open script file Charlest1945 Aug 22, 2013 7:09 PM I have been using DW8 since it came out. I am running Windows 7. Everything was working fine until I had hard drive failure. Replaced hard drive reinstalled Windows and DW8. Now when I try to insert an image I get the message "unable to open java script file c:\program files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\configuration\objects\common\AccessibleImage.js (error 2)".I have done the usual--rename config file--reinstall DW8--clean register and reinstall--run as admin.--run in compatibility with XP SP2, etc. but nothing works.Help would be invaluable to me. I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 1543Views Tags: none (add) errorContent tagged with error, scriptContent tagged with script This content has been marked as final. Show 1 reply 1. I don't have this problem! WilliamHenry Reported 03 Mar 2013 16:11:09 Dreamweaver CS6...I can insert the HTML Editor 3 object and it looks great in design mode. When I try to put the file to the web host I get this error: Unable to Open Script File C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6\Configuration\Shared\DMXZone\Scripts\dmxfunclib102.jsI looked in this path and there is no DMXZone folder beneath Shared. I have uninstalled the extension and resintalled 3 times. I have cleared the cache files as I saw in another support topic. I don't know what else to do. Can somebody please tell me what files are supposed to be in that Scripts folder? I'm not sure if this is why the object doesn't display in the browser. I get an empty text area basically...no icon sets ...no nothing. I've even deleted the ScriptLibrary folder on the web host FTP site and re-uploaded everything.
