Btw, it’s working, thanksBtw, I’ve documented it here for my own reference.http://firewallengineer.wordpress.com/2 ... e-udp-nio/ Top catalin.ciubotariu Post subject: Re: Dynamips Error - "206-unable to create UDP NIO"Posted: Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:26 am Joined: Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:19 amPosts: 3 Hello all,Even if I have changed Base UDP port in 10001 (I've tried with 15000 as well), I still have this error "206-unable to create udp nio"I've created some labs on Windows 7 64-bit and I'm trying to load them on Windows XP Pro 32-bit. Even if I'm changing the paths manually and delete the configs, I still got this error.I will really appreciate if somebody can help me. Thank you for your time!Catalin Top networkengineer Post subject: Re: Dynamips Error - "206-unable to create UDP NIO"Posted: Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:34 am Joined: Thu Mar 22, 2012 5:02 amP

When I try to open it, I get this error that says: 206-unable to create UDP NIO How do I open my saved file so that I can continue working on http://forum.gns3.net/topic4538.html it? Something else is using that UDP port which Dynamips wants to use or the net file is incorrect and one router is listening on one port whilst the other router wants to connect to a different port. Most probably the first reason anyway so go http://www.techexams.net/forums/ccna-ccent/56472-gns3-reports-206-unable-create-udp-nio.html look at the Dynamips log to work out what is going on. Google for this next time as I just tried it and all the results point this out.
