Btw, it’s working, thanksBtw, I’ve documented it here for my own reference.http://firewallengineer.wordpress.com/2 ... e-udp-nio/ Top catalin.ciubotariu Post subject: Re: Dynamips Error - "206-unable to create UDP NIO"Posted: Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:26 am Joined: Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:19 amPosts: 3 Hello all,Even if I have changed Base UDP port in 10001 (I've tried with 15000 as well), I still have this error "206-unable to create udp nio"I've created some labs on Windows 7 64-bit and I'm trying to load them on Windows XP Pro 32-bit. in: Uncategorized. Tagged: GNS3. 8 Comments PROBLEM Unable to to open saved topology in GNS3. SOLUTION Change ‘Base UPD' from 10000 UDP to 10001 UDP. To change it, go to “Edit” and click “Preferences …” or just use the shortcut key which is the combination of Ctrl+Shift+P. In Preferences, go to Dynamips, and look for Base UDP setting. Default Setting for Base UDP is 10000 UDP. Change Base UDP value from 10000 UDP to 10001 UDP and click OK. I just had this problem. Reply sapiens sapiens on November 25, 2012 at 4:38 pm said: Another solution is to open your saved topology .net file and change the UDP port value from 10000 by default to 12000 for example or just change the value to 10001 as Firewall Engineer said Reply emigratus on March 28, 2013 at 1:38 pm said: networkengineer: thankx.. it's work for me Reply Sina on July 13, 2013 at 11:18 pm said: I have the same issue, but after making the changes Firewall Engineers mentioned, i couldn't open the previous .Net topology files yet. The workaround is to open the topology file for editing and make the following change also udp = 10001 Reply Milan on September 17, 2013 at 11:53 am said: I did it , but its not working…
