Epicor 9.0 epicor   2 Replies Tabasco OP Rick_B Aug 10, 2012 at 3:24 UTC Yup, unable to that would be the same error message I get when my WiFi suffers from a little signal interruption. Epicor has a zero tolerance for network interruption. Somethings that may help: 1. Turn on Network compression for the remote users in User Maintenance in Epicor 2. Try to stabilize the network connection... network engineer needed? 3. VPN - if the VPN won't stay up then your network connection is not stable enough. 4. If the network connection is stable, perhaps you do not have unable to connect enough bandwidth, maybe Wireshark the connection and identify the Epicor packets and prioritize them and depreciate other protocols or block them all together, like streaming music or something. 5. If you have Epicor Anywhere, use that instead if the right programs are available in the EAW version. It's similar to Exchange Webmail vs Outlook. and it runs over HTTP or HTTPS. 1 Pimiento OP kivato Aug 13, 2012 at 1:40 UTC Guys, Thank you very much for this great idea and support you give, Let me work on it and i will let you know the progress, Thanks again Kivato 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. 2K3 is running 32-bit, then you need to have 32- and 64-bit ODBC connectors for 2008 R2.I only ran into a similar issue when trying to create a new DB for Epicor to see. The environment was consistently 64-bit, but I had to confirm both sets of ODBC connectors before the AppServers would come online. Also, have you gone into the Windows GUI for the licensing portal and created the new instance? If not, double-check those settings, as well.Hope this helps ... | SWMS system 2015-03-16 11:10:31 UTC #2 Ok, I give up. I am trying to set up a test server running 8.03.305k. I've installed Progress 10.0b which matches the Production server. Everything is the same, the only difference is this test server is running on Windows 2008 r2 and the production server is on windows 2003. I've pulled the answerBook # 3967MPS that pertains to the Progress AppServer refused connection (7203) and verified all the resolutions listed and there is still no connection allowed. I can run the Admin Tools under manager vut trying to launch the application fails. The database and AppServers are running under the PET. Anyone run into this issue? anything else I can look at to resolve this issue? Larry Jedik system 2015-03-16 12:16:16 UTC #3 What resolutions have you verified? I don’t have access to the AnswerBook to be able to look at it.
