mode on my CX 3810, after the completion of the scan function by the scanner, I get no scan sent to my computer and I get an error message box that says:EPSON JPG Plug-inUnable to write to diskOKI click on OK and the application closes.I have reinstalled all software, cleaned out the registry, etc.I installed the same software on my laptop and the printer/fax works fine.HELP Respond to this 0 I have the same problem with a Epson Stylus CX6600. I use Epson Scan and it says the same thing. I tried to update the drivers but that didn't help. Several other message boards have people with the same problem in the last couple weeks. I think it started after I did a Windows Update but I'm not sure. by Anonymous on Dec 2, 2007 at 5:52pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 What amazes me is that Epson "has never heard of this before" and has no clue.If I had a nickel for every time I have introduced a new , unheard of problem to a technical help line, I would be a rich man! by unknown on Dec 2, 2007 at 7:00pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 ok so I called tech support, they weren't to bad... they had me use a different application to scan. I used photoshop to import from scanner and it worked, apparently the problem is related to windows, the fax viewer, or something non epson, ive tried new drivers and windows is still being stupid, i suspect my xp media center as that always conflicts with my recording software, at least now i can scan. by derksquad on Jan 24, 2008 at 7:58am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks everyone for posting this. I have been trying for a long time to fix this issue and was getting the exact same error message. I opened up photoshop and scanned that way and it worked fine. Thanks for posting this great advice! by unknown on Dec 11, 2014 at 8:42am Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment Unkno
