Indeed, when TimeSlips is launched, the two files PDOXUSRS.LCK and PARADOX.LCK are created in the data folder, and while these exist, I cannot unexpected error from use my ODBC connection to write to the table. Is there any way I can write to the TimeSlips database while someone is running TimeSlips? I.e. Can I write to the table while these LOCK files are there?Thank You NicholasD1980 8 Dec 2010 7:02 PM Cancel 1 Reply Caren2 9 Dec 2010 9:15 AM In reply to Nancy Duhon: What you are trying to do is unsupported and to me is dangerous.. The lock files are there for a reason - they are created to prevent two people writing to the same record at the same time.I'd be worried about data corruption.I don't know about other people but the only way I support writing to the database is through proper use of a license which probably requires use of the SDK..
