The C++ runtimes are good)There are no hardware errors for any NIC on any machine. The ethernet switch was rebooted as well. All other database an unexpected error has occured in "quickbooks": returning null qbwininstance handle applications (MS SQL) work just fine. All shares work just fine. No hardware events indicating any problems at all.Everything I've tried does not work and the event logs still show this error no matter what company file is opened. (The server is running Win 2008 R2 x64 SP1 fully patched, workstations are Win7 x64 SP2). In addition no software has been installed on any of these machines in several months. We run ESET (and real-time scanning exclusions were made for the server share). The network is gigabit ethernet & traffic is almost non-existent (no heavy traffic apps running & no traffic jams as per router logs) & the PCs are all Quad Core, 3.4Ghz, 8GB very high end boxes. There are no indications that anything BUT QB Enterprise 2015 is at fault! This happened after an automatic Quickbooks update 2 days ago (02/25/15). How do I get rid of them? A client runs QB Enterprise an unexpected error has occurred in intuit quickbooks enterprise solutions: Solutions 16 from a terminal server. The QB files and DB manager are on a file server that is also the dbconnpool::handleconnectionerror errorcode:-6069 Domain Controller. QB is running without any errors in QB itself, but is filling up the Event Logs on the terminal servers. I normally get multiple instances of both errors in rapid succession. The two errors are: #1 https://community.intuit.com/questions/1103414-got-unexpected-error-5-in-call-to-netsharegetinfo-for-path -- Got unexpected error 5 in call to NetShareGetInfo for path \\server\file.QBWI've confirmed the QBdataserviceuser25/26 accounts on the server with the QB DB manager have full rights to that folder and all files. Since the machine running the DB manager is also a domain controller, there are no local administrators, just domain admins. We've made the QBdataserviceuser25/26 accounts domain admins just to be safe (didn't appear to help). This error allegedly can appear https://community.intuit.com/questions/1305943-unexpected-error-5-and-error-c-249-are-filling-up-my-events-logs-how-do-i-get-rid-of-them if the network connection goes bad or sleeps between the user and the database files. There should be no network issues as both servers are virtual machines on the same host.#2 -- An unexpected error has occured in "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Contractor 16.0": V26.0D R3 (M=1066, L=335, C=249, V=0 (0))All the solutions I found for this error (C=249) said to just ignore it if QB still works, but do not explain what's happening. This is a mission critical server that gets lots of heavy use, so if something is broken, I need to know. The presence of the error also creates a barrier to getting assistance when we place support requests with Microsoft, Dell, or other software companies. Thanks,Chris Comment Asked by cdmoore1972 QuickBooks 2014 & Older, United States Options Edit Ask for details Archive hide info × Close Why do you want to report this? It simply indicates, "We confirmed if there is already an instance of the program running." http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/SLN41261 http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Articles/SLN40997 Here's a useful page: http://www.office911.ca/QuickBooksErrorCodesMessages.htmThe Server Manager should be updated to the newer QB program being used.
