Pink Floyd Report • #2 Fingers June 26, 2013 at 15:44:58 Agreed, BUT, before uninstalling an antivirus program that is not working, first restart in Safe Mode with Networking and install Malwarebytes, update and Run it. Remove all it finds. Then restart normally and uninstall McAfee. I also recommend replacing it generally with Avast Free Version, though reinstalling the same will achieve getting it working again. The reason I recommend running Malwarebytes is to make sure that you do not have an infection that slipped by, possibly making McAfee unusable. Uninstalling before making sure you are clean could get you into worse trouble. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
