I installed USB Loader GX earlier. I am able wii usb loader gx usb device not found to run it via the HBC. I have a 16GB Kingston USB flash drive which I formatted in WBFS Manager 3.0. After that I added My iso of Punch Out to it. From what I can tell it installed to the usb loader gx no usb device found drive fine. I did get a fatal error when I closed WBFS manager. I took a screenshot of it but wasn't sure how to post it in here. ANyways, aside from that I plugged my USB drive into the Wii and when I run the USB Loader GX I get a message saying "No USB Device Found. Do you want to retry for 30 secs?" and then gives me 3 boxes to choose from: cIOS249, cIOS222, and back to Wii Menu. No matter

which cIOS I choose the counter goes down from 30 secs and doesn't detect the USB flash drive. I have a Wii with SoftMii 2.1 and the firmware is 3.2u. I'm not sure what went wrong here. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? shooshoo, May 22, 2009 Top #1 Member Narolez GBAtemp Fan Joined: Apr 10, 2009 Messages: 369 Featured Posts: 0 Location:

I am new to Softmoding a Wii (or any sort of console moding). I have a Wii with 4.0e on it, and have gone through usb loader this guide new and improved wii softmod guide ! (great guide and worked perfectly) to install Homebrew, and then I have gone through this guide guide: usb loader gx to install USB Loader GX, and the application opens but can’t find the hard drive (tried both USB’s). I’m using a Lacie 160gb Mobile Disk, which according to this (USB Devices Compatibility List) should work, but isn’t. usb loader gx I have installed WBFS Manager 3.0.1 and formatted the drive to WBFS, but no love. When I plug the HD into the Wii the blue led on the HD comes on for a while (around 30 secs I guess), and then goes off, so to me that says that it is not on, so I’m guessing that is the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it. Does anyone have any idea of what is wrong and how to fix it? Right now the problem I'm having is getting my Emus (SNES9X GX and FCE Ultra GX) to load games from my HDD. Correction, They can't even FIND my HDD. I'm using a 1T Freeagent and it works great on my comp and Wii with the exception of using emus. If anyone else has had this problem and been able to fix it please let me know... Or if haven't had this problem but have some ideas that might help me solve it then that'd be great too Thanks DS Original AceKard 2i - AKAIO 1.8.5 EZ Flash 3in1 (GBA Size) SNES_Master, Aug 22, 2010 #1 6,350 410 83 tech3475 Loyal Member Joined: Jul 2, 2007 Is it NTFS? Could it be that the drive is partitioned to be 3 drives? I.e. Part 1 is 439gb for my comp, Part 2 is 439gb for my Wii (This is the one with Wii games that USB Loader GX has no trouble using) and part 3 is 51gb for Emulation (where I'd like to store all my roms for NES, SNES, N64 etc. etc) DS Original AceKard 2i - AKAIO 1.8.5 EZ Flash 3in1 (GBA Size) SNES_Master, Aug 22, 2010 #3 6,350 410 83 tech3475 Loyal Member Joined: Jul 2, 2007 SNES_Master said: ↑ It was set to NTFS as the Defualt but I also tried reformatting to exFAT (only other format option) which also didn't work. That would work, although I suggest: 1. Using Gparted because Windows is very restrictive on formatting FAT32. 2. Have th
