After deployment, certain files are getting blocked by it even though Symantec Antivirus on desktop had cleared those as clean files. In one of my previous post Linked Excel Files and SharePoint, I covered the details virus excel on how linked files work in SharePoint. Error: 2 - The file: FileNameByFM.xlsx -contains Unscannable Content. Reason: Container Size Violation | Container Size Violation -Status: BlockedThis file cannot be saved to the document library. If you are trying to save after edit / checking out, file, it doesn't work either. Cause: The issue is due to the linked MS Excel files that were on user desktop. Only container file was uploaded to the SharePoint. The file was 25 MB in size. How to find linked files in MS Excel Follow the steps listed below to find the linked files:1. Open the Microsoft Excel file from SharePoint2. Go to Data ribbon tab and then click Edit Links under Connectionsgroup3. Review the linked file(s) for Location. Every time I try to connect to an excel file, I get errors. Errors are either of the following (with slight variations in temp file path and numbers of rows): Tableau Data Engine Error: 406: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmp84772289\SYS\SCHEMAS\SCHEMAS_NAME.dataThe table "[TableauTemp].['ALL output types$']" does not exist. Tableau Data Engine Error: 40401: Scan::Next: Mismatched row counts: Table has 361 rows: Column: [COLUMNPROPS_KEY] has 350 rows I have tried rolling back to an earlier version of Tableau. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version. I have tried clearing the windows temp folder. I've also tested connecting with a simple excel sheet with just a few rows, but I still get both errors. I have no idea what to do next - please let me know what you think might fix it!(Please try to keep advice in non-technical language if possible, I am still learning this software) I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 604Views Categories: Data Sources & Connections, Installation, Upgrades & Configuration Tags: none (add) error messagesContent tagged with error messages, error 406Content tagged with error 406, error 40401Content tagged with error 40401 This content has been marked as final. When ever you get an Excel file in an email or downloaded from some other location you need to save it locally, meaning on your hard drive (C:\). Then connect to the Excel file with Tableau. This process goes for any application, including Excel itself. The temp location is just that, temporary, and should never be used to store information. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: Help with 40401 and 406 errors Katherine Howells Jul 29, 2016 3:03 PM (in response to Toby Erkson) Thanks but I have never saved an Excel file in the temp folder. All my Excel files are created locally by me and saved in the C drive and then I've used Tableau to connect to them. This has worked perfectly until now.The reason I tried emptying the temp folder was that it looked like the error was related to the temp fo
