I got an error on the .Net Framework. All my projects wouldn't load and there was een error with ReSharper 6 as well. Which one I sadly don't remember. After fixing the .Net Framework, I rebooted and all my projects loaded again. However, my ReSharper 6 wasn't starting. When I go to Tools -> Options -> ReSharper I see "An error occurred loading this property page." So Visual Studio knows it is installed. I've visual studio 2012 command prompt tried removing and reinstalling ReSharper 6 but that didn't work. Anyone got any ideas? c# visual-studio resharper share|improve this question asked Nov 2 '11 at 9:25 Peter 69110 Most probably the error might have been that the Resharper trial period has expired. This happened to me many times. –Mamta D Nov 2 '11 at 9:28 It hasn't, I have a valid key provided to me by my company –Peter Nov 2 '11 at 9:29 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted Perhaps you still have corrupt settings or not everything has been resolved when you "fixed the .NET framework" If you can get to the ReSharper options, it might be worth clearing the Cache (General tab - Clear caches) You can also access ReSharper options via Tools -> Options -> ReSharper instead of the ReSharper menu, you have the option in here too to Suspend it. if not; Try resetting to the default settings devenv.exe /resetsettings You could also run it up in safe mode first, although since this will disable ReSharper it's unlikely to prove anything devenv.exe /safemode Failing that, an uninstall of ReSharper first, Then VS - then a re-install of both in the opposite order would be my only other advice. share|improve this an

Jun 25, 2007 02:13 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7978054/resharper-wont-load-when-starting-visual-studio-2008 PM|ngcdeveloper|LINK I get an error when I try to bring up the Choose Toolbox Items (right click in the Toolbox panel > Choose Items...)and then the .Net Framework Components tab. The error is: 'An error occurred loading this property page.' I get this same error in other areas of VS 2005 like Tools > Options > Windows Form Designer. In another forum, I http://forums.asp.net/t/1126081.aspx?Choose+Toolbox+Items+An+error+occurred+loading+this+property+page+ read that if you change your OS's WIndow Display Properties > Appearance > Advanced > Icon to a true type font like Tahoma, it would work (which it did for a few users), but unfortunately, mine was already set to Tahoma and didn't work. Has anyone encountered this bug and gotten a fix? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thx Reply Benson Yu -... The issue was resolved by running “devenv /setup” in Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt. I’m not sure if this works on you machine. Please try it, I do hope it is helpful. Unanswered Both VS 2012/VS 2013 Professional Hang when opening existing Xamarin C# Project DavidBolton David BoltonGBMember ✭ June 2014 in Visual Studio I have an existing project and until recently all was good and I've been doing stable path updates. Then last week out of the blue my VS 2012 started complaining visual studio about the missing .csproj type. I did a repair in Control Panel/Programs and Features on Xamarin and it was ok for the rest of the day. However getting fed up with repairing it daily, I contacted support who had me download a new Xamarin.iOS. I had previously completely uninstalled Xamarin, Xamarin Studio, Xamarin Universal installer and Xamarin.iOS. the whole lot then reran the installer from my downloads page on Xamarin.com. This an error occurred however did not reinstall Xamarin.iOS. Support provided that but ever since, I'm not convinced that it's OK. Today I did a repair on VS 2012 and uninstalled/reinstalled all of the Xamarin stuff but the issue remains the same. I think there is an issue with my installation. When I do check now in Tools Options/Xamarin/iOS Settings and click the updates, it takes me to the updates screen for Xamarin 3. Clicking install then goes to the Xamarin Setup Wizard which however stops with a fault half way through because it says it can't find some files. FYI (This is from the Windows 7 Programs and Features). Xamarin is version 3.0.54.0, Xamarin Studio is 5.0.1.3, Xamarin Universal Installer is 3.5.0.0 and Xamarin.iOS is 1.10.47.0. Doing a Diagnose connection passes all but the last step (Compare Remote and Local MonoTouch SDK). It says Outdated. VS 2013 gives the same as VS 2012. Unanswered iOS Project is Unsupported Teo Constantin GherghescuDKMember ✭ September 2014 in Visual Studio As of today at noon, my iOS project in a Xamarin Forms shared library project, Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 stopped working, with this error. Unsupported This version of Visual Studio is unable to open the following projects. The project types may not be installed or this version of Visual Studio may not support them. For more information on enabling these project types or otherwise migrating your assets, please see the details in the "Migration Report" displayed after clicking OK. The weird thing is that I did not manually update anything, and things were working this morning. I restarted Visual Studio, and then nothing works anymore. 2 «12» Go Posts DavidStetz David Stetz USMember ✭ September 2014 I am having this issue as well, I am using the latest in the beta channel.
