(tried bypass TCP/UDP protocol, destination address, source address) I tried to turn off all apps, still failed. do I need to reboot Untangle after changing bypass rule ? what else can I do ? 01-22-2013,11:46 AM #2 bhackbarth Master Untangler Join Date Dec 2010 Location Wisconsin Dells, cisco vpn client WI Posts 108 Be sure your Cisco VPN authentication password hasn't expired; if it has it will quickly disconnect your tunnel and throw the 427 error code. If that is the problem, resetting the password should fix the issue. If that's not it let me know and we can try some other things. Bypass rules do not require a reboot to take effect. 01-22-2013,11:09 PM #3 datdamnmachine Master Untangler Join Date Aug 2008 Posts 285 If your unit is in bridge mode, I would bypass Untangle itself and see if your VPN connects. If so, then you will have at least narrowed it down a little. Let us know. If not, then I would get it working without Untangle first. Also, a few questions: - Where are you located at when you attempt a connection? - Where is Untangle in reference to where you are located? - Where is the VPN gateway? 01-23-2013,01:28 AM #4 clk Newbie Join Date Sep 2008 Posts 5 It's strange that I can't connect the VPN even without Untangle today, I'll check the password with my colleague first. My setup is: Internet <- Untangle <- Firewall <- client My VPN client computer is behind the firewall & untangle. And the VPN gateway is in the Internet. Will test again with my colleague. 01-23-2013,07:42 PM #5 clk Newbie Join Date Sep 2008 Posts 5 Use another vpn account to test today, the bypass rule works indeed. Th
