connect, I get error 619. - The strange thing is that my flatmate (same network)has a laptop with Windows XP, and I can succesfully connect with it. My coleagues also connect succesfully to this VPN server from http://help.unotelly.com/support/solutions/articles/39003-error-619-a-connection-to-the-remote-computer-could-not-be-established- their houses. I've done a WireShark Trace, to see the behaviour of the connection attempt. What I can see is that my computer sends "PPP LCP Configuration Requests" of protocol 47 (GRE), and gets no response. I've tried chaging the authetications protocols to PAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP V2 with no success.. Also tried optional encription in the VPN settings. I suggest you try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Temporarily uninstall firewall or antivirus program on the machine. 2. Upgrade the NIC driver to the latest one. If the issue persists, please bypass the router (if there is) and connect to DSL modem directly for a test.
