Vuze Disk Write Error Flush Inconsistent Entry Length
Windows 7 v6.1, amd64 V5.6.2.0/4 az3 Hello! my first post here on the forum and not super forumsavvy :) but since I figured out a vuze disk read error couple of problems I've had with vuze and couldn't find any post about it I thought I'd share. I've been using Vuze for quite some time but never had any big problems until a week ago. I was downloading a couple vuze disk write error flush fails open fails of big packs (60 & 90 Gb) when I started getting errors: "disk write fails, flush fails the file *****.avi is in use by another process" I think it might have happened before but then Ive just restarted vuze and it's been fine (probably because of my reasonably fast connection, i e it's finnished downloading before the error has occured again) anyways after a fair bit of googling I was pretty sure it was some sort of background indexing/scanning that did it so

Vuze Disk Read Error Out Of Memory
download works normally for a few minutes, then without warning the little green smiley face icon on the left turns red and the download stops with the following error message: "Error: Disk write error-flush fails, http://forum.vuze.com/Thread-Disk-write-error-in-use-by-another-process open fails, file not found:" This has started happening only recently and I've tried restarting Vuze, running anti-virus scans, rebooting my PC (running Windows 7 with all current updates), etc., but nothing seems to correct this problem. If you're like me, it's that Google Desktop has that file open to vuze disk index it. All you have to do is follow these simple steps to tell Google Desktop to not index the folder(s) you download your torrents to:Right-click on the Google Desktop icon in your task bar (the rainbow-colored circle near your system clock.)Select Preferences...In the Web page that opens, under "Don't Search These Items", click the "Add file or folder to exclude" link.From the resulting dialog, browse to the folder where you disk read error normally save the files you download with Azureus and click Ok.Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each folder you normally save files in, if applicable.Click Save Preferences at the bottom of the Web page.Send me money. (I'm guessing since you use Azureus you probably will skip this step.)This should also correct the issue where the DivX Settings Manager icon comes up in your system tray all the time while you're downloading avi's - if you have it. Unfortunately i'm still having the same problem. It is definetely not related to my anti-virus software. I think it may have to do with Vista, which seems to be more trouble than its worth. I tried azureus and utorrent BOTH gave the same error, only when downloading mp3's strangely... After a long trawl around the net I found a post relating to roxio causing the same problems, my machine came with this preinstalled. I removed roxio and hey presto the problem has vanished!! it seems this little program is busy in the background accessing files which can cause the file already in use problem i was experiancing.
