Find the Bioshock.exe (:C\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bioshock\Builds\Release\Bioshock.exe) 2. Right-click the .exe, and select Properties. 3. Open Compatability tab, check "Run in compatability mode," and select Windows Vista. EXPLANATION: Bioshock isn't totally compatible with Windows 7, seeing as it was made in 2007-ish, so this will run the game with the Windows Vista engine. I've verified the cache and I've even flushed the Steam config. I've heard that it could have something to do with C++ but I have the correct one installed. I know this because it installed it itself when I installed the game. Any ideas would be helpful.
