Following Follow Win 7 I am trying to sync my HP iPAC 111 PDA to Outlook 2010 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/915152 on a laptop with 7 Home Premium. I am not hooked up to a server. When I try to sync I get the above error code on my PDA. See event: To resolve this issue I re-installed CAS : Client Access Role. (Description: The Client Access server role enables clients to their Exchange windows 10 mailbox through Outlook Web Access, POP, IMAP, or their mobile device. This server role also provides free/busy lookup and offline address books.) First: Goto path: C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\ rename applicationHost.config to applicationHost.config.old Now you can un-install CAS. Configuration Panel > Add/Remove Programs > click Remove on Exchange 2007 to uninstall CAS Note: activesync synchonozation error The Windows Firewall service must be started before Setup (un-install/reinstall) can Continue.
