When I try to installshield error 1607 windows 10 activate a command with GSX, I receive the following error message; Coalt Scripting engine has encountered an unrecoverable error and will be restarted. Please download the latest stand alone add-on manager https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/910816 from our web site. Cause This error can occur when performing the installation through a Microsoft Windows Terminal Server session. This can also be caused by some system specific settings. Resolving the problem Note: This solution contains information about modifying the registry. Before making any modifications to the registry, it is strongly recommended that you make a backup of the existing registry. Workaround 1: If you are installing the IBM Rational product through a Windows Terminal Server session: Be sure that you are running the Windows Terminal Server in console mode. Make sure that the Installer folder in the Windows directory has full access privileges.
