2009-Dec-1, 6:49 pm ref: whrl.pl/Rb5L7I posted 2009-Dec-1, 6:49 pm O.P. Hey people,I recently installed DVD43 onto my computer as I was sick of regonal things. After installation it asks you to restart your computer, everyhtings http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1332783 fine, DVD43 is working, etc. Then I installed a DVD decrypter of some sort and it asked me to reboot, everything was working once again. The next time I used my computer (after shutting down), DVD43 http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/dvd43-problems.388558/ came up with some sort of error message, like DVD43's drivers arn't installed properly, please reboot or reinstall, so I rebooted, same problem, so I reinstalled it, still not working. By this stage I thought, whats windows 10 the point it's not working, I can't see my DVD drivers because DVD43's drivers arn't installed properly. So I unistalled it and rebooted, still couldn't see my DVD drive in windows, works in bios, just not in windows. Thanks, Gunny Specs – Main system – Dell Optiplex GX620 – Pentium D ~ 3.2GHz – 2GB of RAM – 533MHz – 500GB Hard drive – ATI Radeon HD 4670 – Windows 7 User dvd43 64 bit #93853 12577 posts Steve Whirlpool Forums Addict reference: whrl.pl/Rb5MgQ posted 2009-Dec-1, 7:29 pm ref: whrl.pl/Rb5MgQ posted 2009-Dec-1, 7:29 pm Gunny007 writes... Then I installed a DVD decrypter of some sort Seriously, you're throwing completely uinknown pieces of software at your computer and expect it to keep working for very long? It's likely that the DVD Decryptor has installed a low level filter driver that confilcts with the software installed from DVD43, which probably ALSO installs a low level filter driver. Confilcts of this sort can be a nightmare to fix, even if you know the software you have installed, but just some random DVD Decryptor? If all you know about it is "some sort of DVD Decrypter" then its probably going to be impossible to fix. Backup, format, re-install, have fun. Lately I have been having a lot of problems with dvd43 (I think). For a while when I would start to open the dvd (like when you first start dvdshrink) it kept giving me this error message: Copy protection error- The read failed bc the sector is encrypted. I finally got a dvd uploaded and encrypted but when I got to the point where I had to put in a blank dvd it couldnt find the disc. It just kept checking for it but never found anything. I tried a ton of different dvds and even two different brands and nothing worked. So I uninstalled dvd43 and reinstalled it and now the error message I get when I try to open it is: Cant connet dvd43 driver must be installed, up to date, and active. I have no clue what is going on here, could someone PLEASE help me. I dont want to switch programs bc it took me forever to figure out how to use this one. Oh another thing-I dont know if it has to do with this but after I kept getting the error msgs from burning dvds none of my cd burning software could find a blank cd in the drive either. I had to restart the computer before they would work. Thanks so much for any help!! raygen14, Sep 22, 2005 #1 larrylje Active member Joined: Jan 4, 2005 Messages: 12,506 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 96 Make sure that none of your firwall, anti-spy, anti-virues etc etc programs are blocking DVD43 from working. larrylje, Sep 22, 2005 #2 raygen14 Member Joined: Jul 12, 2005 Messages: 13 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 Its none of that, I checked first thing and nothing is blocking it. raygen14, Sep 22, 2005 #3 YOBUZZB Regular member Joined: Apr 14, 2004 Mess
