I hope you are well. I have been having troubles with my computer (2e stop errors and so on), which I assumed was my graphics card overheating (reaching 90+ Celsius, probably bad), so I swapped it out for a new card and reformatted. http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/frequent-bsods-on-win7-x64-including-7e-error.171514/ I've now had three BSODs in about 6 hours, and this is a bit confusing! At first I thought it was my external HDD (Western Digital Elements, causes BIOS to hang for a few more seconds than necessary and also causes other USB device initialization (keyboard, mouse, Powermate) on Windows startup to hang), but the second BSOD showed up with a message about nvlddmkm.sys (Nvidia driver?). The third showed up with 7e, which as I understand it is not very descriptive by itself. I've run memtest86 overnight (approximately 7 hours), but I forgot to check how many passes. A user in my office recently wanted to download video from his Sony digital camcorder. I installed the Sony Picture Utility onto his desktop and reset after installation as directed. Windows started, let me log in, and even loaded the desktop, cursor & icons for approximately thirty seconds. I was then given a Blue Screen of Death "serious error" message with the following code: "STOP 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x848EC2C0, 0xA982CBE8, 0xA982C8E4)" There are no driver or file associations listed. The system stays active on this screen for around a minute while a physical memor
