After a scheduled update - .Net Framework 4.5.2 - my laptop went to reboot and came back with BSOD ..aggghhhh. Powered off and restarted and went through https://forums.techguy.org/threads/hotmail-not-syncing-with-livemail-2012.1146428/ the startup repair facility. All fixed and rebooted OK except my Hotmail account is now not syncing and I receive this message - Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (kevhatch) account. Server Error: 0x80072EFF Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EFF All other accounts are fine. I've done a system restore and deleted the account and reinstalled to no avail, all I get is an empty pane with the message - Windows Live Mail is synchronizing this account. Check back in a few minutes to read your messages. - which stays for hours! I can access Hotmail through my browser but would like to sort this if possible. I've searched on the net and can't find any up to date help on the issue, hoping you guys/gals can help me out. Thanks Kev kevhatch, Apr 11, 2015 #1 Sponsor CleaverX Joined: Sep 27, 2012 Messages: 1,323 Did you actually remove and reinstalled LiveMail or did you just removed and re-created the mail accounts? Windows Live Mail and it worked fine, today I turned on my computer and pressed the send/receive button and the only thing I received was the message below. I tried going to the help site listed in the message however there is no information there about this problem. I have no idea what it means or how to correct the problem - anyone know"Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (*******) account. All of the sudden last week, none of my outgoing mail is being sent. I got a similar error report and tried several times to get technical support. I am now using the fiddler program to "capture" the problem and attach the capture to a reply email from tech support. Why does it have to be so difficult to fix their problem.
