My solution was shift f10 command prompt and typing d: enter, e: enter, f: enter until i got to U. Apparently on my netbook, U was the drive for the usb. Went to the location popup and typed u:\i386 and bam. Had to wait and type down arrow and enter probably 25 times but install is all good.
