Windows Xp Home Installation Disk
get this message "Disk read error occurred press Ctl+Alt =Del to restart. Every time I restart I get the same message. Does anyone have any ideas about repair windows xp installation disk the steps I should take in an attempt to fix this problem. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart. So make sure the bootable partition is marked as active and the drive it's on appears in the boot device list before any non-bootable hard drives. share|improve this answer answered Dec 7 '11 at 14:53 Brian 7,4501328 I used this command on ubuntu fdisk /dev/sda1 to mark it active but still I get the same error..
