If the prongs of the USB port are bent and touching the case of the port the USB will short circuit and not allow the Xbox to power on. If it has been damaged, you will need to replace it. Bad Motherboard¶ If the you still have the same problem after checking the above, you may have a problem with your motherboard. It is a common problem for soldered joints on the motherboard to crack. If this is the case, it is possible to solder or re-flow the connections. Disc drive won't open/close¶ Debris in disc drive¶ If your disc drive tray is stuck and will not open or close, then you have to manually eject the disc. Follow these instructions to remove the faceplate and manually eject the drive. Remove any obstructions, and plug the console back in. If the eject button still doesn't work, your disc drive may need to be replaced. Xbox 360 won't read discs¶ Scratched discs¶ Discs that are extremely scratched will not be read by the console. Put a clean, unscratched disc in the the drive. If your Xbox 360 plays the disc without issue, then the scratched discs were the problem. The LEDs in the ring of light will flash in a particular pattern. The pattern itself leads some insight to the problem. E10/0022 Bridged solder joint/Short GPU-> (H)ANA Add / Edit Details Primary Error code: 3 RLOD E-Code / Secondary Error code:E10 (No Audio/Video) / 0022 Binary/Hex:00001010 / 0x0A -> 10 Known fixes: 1)If you soldered anything to the mainboard before it occured, whatever you are powering from this point is drawing too much power so get rid of it.Also get rid of everything that you can see that might bridge anything near the GPU. 2) X-Clamp replacement 3) Reflow GPU and HANA chip 4) If it\'s not the GPU/(H)ANA, it might in rare cases be the CPU and can be fixed by reflowing the CPU. 5) if you flash with xell on JTAG-fixed xbox360 this will appear, flash back to original. 6) also can be caused by a broken trace (see link below). Description: This error is caused by a bridged/shorting solder joint under the GPU, (H)ANA-chip or in between.It can also be power related though, for example if you are drawing power from one of the regulators that power the GPU and HANA-chip.Can also be a component that is missing or damaged so look for missing parts near the GPU and the HANA chip. In extremely rare cases it might also be related to the lines that lead from HANA to the CPU. The chances are however higher that it is the GPU than the HANA chip so you should always first concentrate on the GPU.
