FaberJan 28, 2013Hi, I'm trying to set up a plugin for Jira 5.1.8 using both SAL and Active Objects (AO). Unfortunately, if I try to import the ao https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/129822/sal-and-ao-dependecies service i get following error: [INFO] [talledLocalContainer] org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'ao': FactoryBean threw exception on object creation; nested exception is java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: loader (instance of org/springframework/osgi/context/internal/classloader/ChainedClassLoader) previously initiated loading for a different type with name "com/atlassian/sal/api/transaction/TransactionCallback" I guess it has to do with OSGi not beeing able to resolve a conflict between SAL and AO. Here's zip file my atlassian-plugin.xml: And my pom.xml: Any help greatly appreciated! jira-developmentCommentCommentAdd your comment...4 answers210Peter FaberJan 28, 2013Seems that my IDE packaged some dependencies in my plugin.jar which coaused the conflict. Deleting the target directory and rebuilding from scratch (altlas-run) solved the problemCommentConrad RolackJan 28, 2013atlas-clean is always a good idea for those kind of conflicts! :)Anton KozyrApr 15, 2013I'm experiencing very similar error in opening problem but atlas-clean / atlas-run doesn't help. Here is an error message: The bit from pom.xml: And here is configuration of AO from atlassian-plugin.xml: OurEntity implements RawEntity (I think it's where I get this LinkageError), but how else I can implement entity then? I can use Entity, but I need String ID. If I remove both configuration elements from atlassian-plugin.xml, plugin fails to initialise one of components, because of dependency on ActiveObjects bean. CommentCommentAdd your comment...10-1Łukasz KrupaSep 26, 2013I face the same problem and the reason was a missing import for net.java.ao package. You can search MANIFEST.MF for net.java.ao and extend it appropriately to you package version.CommentCommentAdd your comment...10-1Anton KozyrApr 15, 2013I'm experiencing very similar problem but atlas-clean / atlas-run doesn't help.
