Initially I thought maybe it was a DRIVER issue, so I posted for help in the Windows 7 forum, but eventually we seem to have decided that (quote from jcgriff): Quote: All I have seen in this thread points to unknown hardware failure. Here is my setup: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (upgrade from Vista HP x64) Asus P6T, latest BIOS, default BIOS voltage/clock settings Integrated Realtek HD audio OCZ Gold Series 6GB 1600MHz RAM at stock BIOS speed

Windows 7: WHEA-Logger (W7 freezes/crashes) Hardware fault Page 1 of 2 1 2 > 19 May 2010 #1 wsf7 http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f15/hardware-related-bsod-clock-interrupt-484244.html W7 Ultimate x64 9 posts WHEA-Logger (W7 freezes/crashes) Hardware fault This crash started out of the blue for no apparent reason. I generally find that leaving one side of my case open helps to keep my PC cooler than when the case is closed and sealed. I have the case closed atm. I did have a noisy PSU http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/85976-whea-logger-w7-freezes-crashes-hardware-fault.html which was slightly respositioned but other than this I am sure nothing else could be the cause. The only thing I did with the PSU was to adjust the casing screws so it no longer vibrated. And I do have my doubts about the PSU being at fault here! This error/crash has only showed up months later after adjusting the PSU. If the problem consists and no one here is able to help resolve this then I will go back to Vista Ultimate and see if the problems showup there. Also FYI this PC has never had nor ever will be overclocked!
