First when I go to my computer or other areas I get this message C:\Documents and Settings\Victor\Desktop is not accessible. Access is denied. Also I have a task bar in white on the left side of my desktop that has Folder Options Other Places and Details and cannot get rid of it. Last I wanted to ad a gif file to my Desktop doing active desktop html the following right click desktop, click properties, desktop, customize desktop, web, new, browse, added gif, ok, ok and ok. I get this error Internet Explorer cannot find the active desktop html file. This file is needed for your active desktop. To turn off active desktop, click ok. I made sure lock desktop items was unchecked under Web in Desktop items.I have Malwarebytes PC Tools Registry Mechanic Glary Utilities and Panda Antivirus but nothing fixed my problem.
