Please Explain This 502 Bad Gateway Error
thats available to download here. Installed Multiman 01.16.08 and FTP was working fine. I was able to transfer files back and forth. On a Mac using Cyberduck. No issues. 2 days ago, i upgraded the internal drive to a 1tb. Turned ps3 on and got to recovery. installed Sony 3.55 again and got up and running. Reinstalled Kmeaw pre-patched and installed Multiman 01.16.09. Upon trying to connect 502 proxy error to FTP again, i get error "502 Unimplemented or invalid command." Now i then loaded OpenFTP and that worked "fine" some files worked aok some.. game me issues. Permission 553 errors. So i then loaded Gaia. Same issue as Multiman. I then proceeded to load Blackbox 1.2 and was able to connect again, but i got some some permission issues (especially when trying to move bigger files back over.) I then Downgraded Multiman back to .08 and tried again. Still failed. I then connected using Filezilla. That worked like a charm. (kinda) Transfer using Filezilla is about 7 times slower. Microsoft makes no warranties, express or implied. http 501 HTTP 502 - Overview When working with IIS Application Request Routing (ARR) deployments, one of the errors that you may see is "HTTP 502 - Bad Gateway". The 502.3 error means that - while acting http://forums.dashhacks.com/ps3-homebrew/283026-issues-ftp-multiman-blackbox-gaia-error-502-550-a.html as a proxy - ARR was unable to complete the request to the upstream server and send a response back to the client. This can happen for multiple reasons - for example: failure to connect to the server, no response from the server, or the server took too long to respond (time out). If you are able to reproduce the error by browsing the web farm from the controller, and detailed errors https://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/troubleshooting-application-request-routing/troubleshooting-502-errors-in-arr are enabled on the server, you may see an error similar to the following: Figure 1 (Click image to expand) The root cause of the error will determine the actions you should take to resolve the issue. 502.3 Timeout Errors The error code in the screenshot above is significant because it contains the return code from WinHTTP, which is what ARR uses to proxy the request and identifies the reason for the failure. You can decode the error code with a tool like err.exe. In this example, the error code maps to ERROR_WINHTTP_TIMEOUT. You can also find this information in the IIS logs for the associated website on the ARR controller. The following is an excerpt from the IIS log entry for the 502.3 error, with most of the fields trimmed for readability: sc-status sc-substatus sc-win32-status time-taken 502 3 12002 29889 The win32 status 12002 maps to the same ERROR_WINHTTP_TIMEOUT error reported in the error page. What exactly timed-out? We investigate this a bit further by enabling Failed Request Tracing on the IIS server. The first thing we can see in the failed request trace log is where the request was sent to in the ARR_SERVER_ROUTED event. The second item I have highlighted is what you can use to track the requ
PMI've followed several guides in regards to connecting my laptop to ps3 via ethernet cord. Some suggested that I must use a crosscable, but others say that http://www.ps3hax.net/archive/index.php/t-36006.html an ethernet cable will do the job just fine. I have 3.55 kmeaw firmware installed, along with multiman 1.16.13 version and BDEMU patch. Everything works fine. The settings saved on the console is as http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Emulation follows: Internet Connection = Enabled Connection Method = Wired Connection Speed and Duplex = Auto-Detect Address Settings = Manual IP Address = 192.168.1.2 Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0 Default Router = 192.168.1.1 Primary DNS = bad gateway 192.168.1.1 Secondary DNS (Leave Blank at 0.0.0.0.0) MTU = Automatic Proxy Server = Do Not Use UPnP = Disabled Also, on my computer, the iPv4 settings of the network: IP ADDRESS: 192.168.1.3 SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: . . . (blank) Preferred DNS server: 192.168.1.1 Alternate DNS server: . . . (blank) I initially tried connecting through the ftp server using filezilla. When it didn't work, i tried 502 bad gateway smartftp and flashFXP, but both to no avail. I have tried it for several hours and still don't understand what might be the problem. I have tweaked the settings in accordance to different guides (such as using Preferred DNS server to 1.1.1.1), but none of them worked for me in this case. I get the following error messages: on flashFXP: FlashFXP 4.2.1 (build 1745) Winsock 2.2 -- OpenSSL 1.0.1 14 Mar 2012 [R] Connecting to 192.168.1.2 -> IP=192.168.1.2 PORT=21 [R] Connected to 192.168.1.2 [R] Connection failed (Connection timed out) [R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1 and nothing shows On filezilla: Status: Connecting to 192.168.1.2:21...
