Are you sure it supports IM traffic? Have you gotten other IM clients to work? Does https work when using a web browser? comment:3 Changed 9 years ago by wteixeira I'm having exactly the same problem. I've tested other clients (GTalk, MSN Live, aMSN) and they work. It's a HTTP proxy that requires authentication (user/password). I'm using Ubuntu 6.10 with Gnome, and other programs work just fine. comment:4 Changed 9 years ago by topeng I'm having the same problem. In this case, email the admin team at myfreecycleadmin@freecycle.org. If it's an intermittent fault, the simplest option is to wait for 10 minutes and then try again. Looking at the documentation for Timeout I'm guessing (I'm not sure) that this is becaus
