Windows 7: Blue/Black screen Locale 2057 blue screen 2057 windows 7 09 Feb 2010 #1 PyroMessiah Windows 7 5 posts Northampton UK Blue/Black screen Locale 2057 I guess this is my last port of call on this one...its driving me nuts now...officially! Im blue screen 2057 vista having some major issues with my new windows 7 pc. Ive got so many black screen of deaths now its untrue. These are happening anywhere from 2 minutes of use and 10 hours of use throughout the day (sometimes 2 or three times a day) My error is a blue screen but what actually happens is the screen goes completely black and my pc restarts itself. Uninstall current video driver with DDU after getting the latest drivers for your card. You can only get rid of the bad file if you uninstall and then reinstall the driver. That was why I suggested the removal and reinstall, to just to see if your current driver may be corrupt. It only takes a couple of minutes and then you are fairly certain that the drivers are not the problem. Then you can start looking at other possible causes and ruling them out until you find the actual culprit..
