What are your system specs? Have you upgraded any drivers recently? Have you changed any hardware recently? Do you have any overclocks running? Another cause can derive from BIOS settings, but those hardly exist compared to the first mentioned possible causes. One thing to also irql not less consider is this error occurs very frequently with others when RAM modules are dying or improperly inserted or configured, or even the RAM module slots. Please consider running a memory check for your ram. Good luck I await your response m 0 l casfrg March 5, 2014 3:35:02 AM hi Darren, i've been searching for answer to my problem for quite an time now but to no avail! searching for the problem as usual has brought me to this post and i think after seeing your answer that you can solve my problem. Now coming to the problem, i just replaced RAM of my acer aspire laptop only to see blue screen erro after start logo stating irql_not_less_or equal problem. then there are things written like disableing cashing or shadowing etc.. but the problem is bios only shows very few options to play with and i guess manufacturer has locked most of the features to prevent user from changing them. i have replaced rams aswell but to no avail as the problem remains more or less same i.e. system won't boot up. new ram is of kingston and of same configuration but how to work around with things like overclocking or some other problem so that i can upgrade my ram. any help is much appreciated and much needed.Darren Kitchin said:Ususally this is a hardwa
