on Tue 10 Nov 2009, 4:57 amHi All,First of all, thank you for reading. I got the BSOD on November 4th. When the computer restarted, I chose to read the error log and took a screen shot. I tried to do http://www.geekpolice.net/t15847-windows-xp-blue-screen-i-have-error-logs a system restore to a late October date but after doing it I got a message that no changes were made. After that I did not try to do a restore to another earlier date (please let http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html me know if I should).I got the BSOD again today. I took another screenshot of the log and also got additional technical information. It doesn't look like I have an option to attach a file so blue screen I'll paste the 11/4 and 11/9 information here.11/4:Error signature:BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: BF952C39 BCP3: A88F9C00 BCP4: 00000000 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 Product: 768_1I did not grab the technical information.11/9:Error signature:BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: BF8124D9 BCP3: A82209CC BCP4: 00000000 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 Product: 768_1Technical information:The following files will be included in this error report:C:\DOCUME~1\Yenna\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERdbec.dir00\Mini110909-01.dmpC:\DOCUME~1\Yenna\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERdbec.dir00\sysdata.xmlThank you again for reading!YarheadNewbie SurferPosts : 8Joined : 2009-09-17Operating System : XP Home Re: Windows blue screen error XP: Blue Screen- I have Error LogsbyNazzgull on Tue 10 Nov 2009, 10:07 amHi,Blue Screen of Dead could be caused by corrupted Hard Disc or some other component of your computer. But, in some cases it's only "bad part" of hard disc, which we could fix or better ignore. So, lets try to get hard disc back as first step.Insert your Windows CD into the DVD/CD drive and restart your computer. When you receive the message "press any key to continue.." , press any button on the keyboard. When you see the "Welcome To Setup" screen, you will see the options below:To setup Windows XP now, press ENTER.To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R.To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3.Please, DO NOT choose 2nd step!Press Enter to start first step, and accept License Agreement.Select the XP installation you want to repair from the list and press R to start repair.Setup will copy the necessary files(which was damaged on your Hard Disc), to the hard drive and reboot.Let Windows to boot normally, don't press any key till you see Welcome Screen.Let me know if you fix problem.Visit us on social networks : GeekPolice on Facebook! - GeekPolice on Twitter!NazzgullTech AdvisorPosts : 2343Joined : 2008-08-04Operating System : Windows 7 Professional 64bit Re:
BlueScreenView v1.55 Copyright (c) 2009 - 2015 Nir Sofer Related Utilities WinCrashReport - Displays a report about crashed Windows application. WhatIsHang - Get information about Windows software that stopped responding (hang) AppCrashView - View application crash information on Windows 7/Vista. See Also NK2Edit - Edit, merge and fix the AutoComplete files (.NK2) of Microsoft Outlook. Description BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the date/time of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters), and the details of the driver or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file description, and file version). For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane. BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly caused the crash. Download links are on the bottom of this page Versions History Version 1.55: Added Drag & Drop support: You can now drag a single MiniDump file from Explorer into the main window of BlueScreenView. Fixed bug: BlueScreenView failed to remember the last size/position of the main window if it was not located in the primary monitor. Version 1.52: Added 'Google Search - Bug Check' and 'Google Search - Bug Check + Parameter 1' options. Version 1.51: Added automatic secondary sorting ('Crash Time' column). Added 64-bit build. Version 1.50: The 'Crash Time' now displays more accurate date/time of the crash. In previous versions, the value of 'Crash Time' column was taken from the date/time of dump file, which actually represents that time that Windows loaded again, after the crash. The actual crash time is stored inside the dump file , and now the 'Crash Time' displays this value. Added 'Dump File Time' column, which displays the modified time of the dump file. Version 1.47: Added 'Auto Size Columns+Headers' option, which allows you to automatically resize the columns according to the row values and column headers. Version 1.46: Fixed issue: The properties and the 'Advanced Options' windows opened in the wrong monitor, on multi-monitors system. Version 1.45: You can now choose to open only a specific dump file - from the user interface or from command-line. You
