Also clear the temp files and prefetch files. Then restart in normal mode. I do this once or twice after the BSOD. This usually takes care of the issue but not sure how this works. To clear the temp files press the Windows logo key + R key on the keyboard and type %temp% and delete the files and type prefetch and delete all the files. Empty the recycle bin.
