Twice while watching Netflix and just now while watching a video embedded in the Surf Forum, I have got the blue screen of death. http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php/225739-Blue-screen-of-death-when-watching-video I have a new Fujitsu laptop, so I am really puzzled as to what is up, as my old laptop never did this and the Fujitsu has like 4 times the speed and capacity over my old one. What should I be checking/looking for? When the screen goes blue it says a lot that I can't read fast enough before the computer restarts. Thanks for your suggestions. You need to disable automatic reboot when you get the BSOD, then you can read what the error is and write it down. Then we can help. XP: Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System Go to Advanced Under the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings... Under System Failure un-check "Automatically restart" 7: Click on the Start button and then on Control Panel. Tip: In a hurry? Type system in the search box after clicking Start. Choos

Because after it does this ONCE it will do it everytime I watch a video afterwords. It also sometimes shuts off my internet connection. How can I find out what is causing the problem? Is there any further information I need to give such as what the blue screen says? It has extensive dump files on it. Logged Keiseth Bay Watcher Better known as The Mimic. Re: My Computer Crashes (Blue Screen) When I watch videos « Reply #1 on: May 31, 2009, 01:56:08 am » I haven't gotten a blue screen in a while, but if it lists a DLL (it usually does) up-top, that can be an excellent clue. It is how I found that my video card drivers were to blame. Logged Cronocke: Today's lesson, revised: Don't listen to Mimic. He will kill you, and it will be entirely by accident. Repeatedly.
