This time I look at graphics cards. I look into drivers as the cause, the card seating, the pci-e power etc.Sometimes the graphics card is the cause, but it is not obvious that it is the cause - for example over heating. I have been getting multiple blue screen errors and I am about 80% sure that it's the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVcBmMmAHjE graphics cards. I get these blue screens at complete random. Random such as completely idle on desktop with nothing running, restarting computer, putting computer to sleep, shutting it down, while play a game, etc. A few errors I can remember are stop errors: -0x000000a -0x00000019 -0x000000D1 -0x000000D7 And many more. I was told that it was most likely my graphics card driver, which it's not considering I'm using the computer with only my integrated graphics card now. Download and install latest drivers Download and install the latest video drivers directly from the computer manufacturer. If you have recently updated the video drivers and this issue began to occur it is likely due to an issue with the drivers. Let Windows re-detect and reinstall video card If downloading and installing the latest video drivers doesn't resolve the issue do the following. Open Device Manager, expand "Display adapters", and remove all devices listed in Display adapters by highlighting the device and pressing the delete key. Once this has been completed and Display adapters is gone, reboot the computer and allow Windows to reinstall the video card. Other driver related issues If doing the above driver suggestions does not resolve this issue make sure that no other driver related issues exist on the computer by making sure no errors exist in Device Manager. To do this open the Device Manager and making sure no devices exist with exclamation marks and that no "Other" devices are listed. If either of these exist, you can usually resolve the issues by downloading drivers for the devices in question and installing them. Alternatively, you can remove the devices in the device manager and then reboot to let Windows re-detect the devices. The chip maker's latest patch for its GeForce line of graphics processing units (GPUs) is causing errors for a number of people, according to complaints on forums and social media. Nvidia just released the update in preparation for tomorrow's launch of The Division military shooter, but some people who installed it today are now getting the dreaded Blue Screen of Death on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 when they boot up their machines. This is preventing the affected people from getting into their PCs. Nvidia has acknowledged the problem on its customer forums, and it has provided the following statement: "Initial investigation suggests the issue is isolated to multiple-monitor configurations. Should you experience issues, you can either disconnect one monitor during the driver installation (and reconnect once completed) or you can uninstall the driver through Windows Safe-Mode and revert to a previous version. Our driver team is actively investigating the issue, and we will have more information shortly." Some affected GeForce owners were previously claiming that multiple monitors are the source of the troubles, and now Nvidia has confirmed that is an issue.
