I just rolled it back to a point in February, before the errors started happening. Some include UNKNOWN HARD ERROR, IRQL DRIVERS NOT LESS OR EQUAL, and PAGE FAULT ON NONPAGED AREA. For about a week the errors were almost nonexistent. Then the BSODs started happening today after using the computer for 15 minutes, then 5 minute, then 1 minute, and now seemingly instantly windows 7 blue after choosing a user. I tried running it safe mode. No luck. Last known good config- zilch. I haven't done anything to the computer as in fatal changes. Any help? I can't access the computer AT ALL. I edited it in PopAGraph so you could see the error clearly. I turned off Auto Restart after crash so I could take a picture, and THAT welcomed me home from vacation. I haven't changed anything in the WINDOWS folder etc... but now that I think of it the BSODs started happening when my 5 y/o brother was on it one morning when I wasn't awake yet. 😦 (as noted before, around February) windows-7 bsod share|improve this question edited Aug 25 '15 at 16:52 DavidPostill 58.8k18119149 asked Jun 10 '15 at 20:27 lucs100 11 Check heatsinks are well attached and fans are running well and not clogged with crud. A rapidly deteriorating machine could have a heat problem. Can you boot from a Linux LiveCD at all? That would at least give you an idea if your Windows is hosed as if Linux can run fine then the majority of the hardware will be be established as probably okay. –Mokubai♦ Jun 10 '15 at 21:08 @DavidPostill It's an image on my iPad, so I'm not sure I can link it. Also, no, I can't boot into safe mode. Well, I can, but I

Sideshow Bob Senior MemberJoined:Nov 11, 2009Messages:12Likes Received:0 I've tried several times to install Windows 7 but I keep getting a blue screen. I've been running Windows XP Pro so I purchased the Win7 upgrade software. I know going from XP I need to do a clean install so I have backed up my data to an external drive as instructed. I've tried installing two different ways, first booting on the Win7 upgrade disk. It loads several files then the screen showing windows is starting with the logo, then the screen go's blank and I get a blue screen that says:Stop:c0000221 Unknown Hard Error \systemroot\system32\NTDLL.DLL. I then tried installing after XP is running. Again, it starts loading files and everything looks go until it does its first reboot then, blue screen. The bad news is by this time XP has been renamed and I can no longer start XP and have to reinstall XP. After doing this a few times (spending hours"s), I decided to start with a brand new drive. Installed the new hard drive in my computer and disconnected my other drives. Then installed XP on the new drive (because I have the upgrade software) and downloaded all the updates and service pack's (SP3). The only drivers I installed was for my WiFi device so I could access the web. After all this, BLUE SCREEN!!! I guess I my have a hardware issue but I have no idea where to look. Can anybody help me please!! Thanks, Gale #1 Sideshow Bob, Nov 11, 2009 tblount New MemberJoined:Sep 27, 2009Messages:3,537Likes Received:64 Does this happen when you are reading a disk? May
