Unanswered question This question has not been answered yet. Hi, I'm using Portal 5.1. In my JSF Portlet, on my JSF page, there are outputText binding to managed bean and datatable binding to bean within the page code bean, to display data. And there are also inputText, listBox, checkBox, and radioButton binding to managed bean, for updating data. They are all working fine. conversion error But when session timed out, and I click the page submit button, I got the red message 'This portlet is unavaiable.' Behind from the systemout file, you will see system exception: ServletWrappe E SRVE0068E: Could not invoke the service() method on servlet /TestTimeout.jsp. Exception thrown : javax.servlet.ServletException: Conversion Error setting value ''{0}'' for ''{1}''. ServletWrappe E SRVE0014E: Uncaught service() exception root cause /TestTimeout.jsp: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Conversion Error setting value ''{0}'' conversion error setting for ''{1}''. Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Conversion Error setting value ''{0}'' for ''{1}''. I just do not like to see the message 'This portlet is unavaiable.' So can anybody tell me why I got this exception? And how to go around this exception? Since this portlet is actually still working. Thanks very much in advance! Log in to reply.
