That means it's an unusual problem (possibly something system-specific).You're re-installing? So you uninstalled the program and are downloading it again? An error shouldn't warrant that. Both games are in the same folder, along with all other Cryptic game files. Also the overlay in STO is a bit glitchy, I open it and click on anything and the game closes to desktop. I doubt its related to the wrong game being detected, but I thought I might as well mention it. Can you elaborate on that? stratometal Member Joined Jun 26 '13 2 Posts Posted: Jul 28 '13 at 5:41am All Cryptic games download/install to the same folder, or should I say the launchers are in the same folder, but each game has its own sub-folder with the client in there. Something like this: \\Cryptic studios\ ++[Champions Online] ++[local data] ++[Neverwinter] ++[Star Trek Online] champions online.exe cryptic error.exe neverwinter.exe star trek online.exe . . so \\Cryptic Studios is the parent folder and the ++[XYZ] are the sub-folders The thing with cryptic launchers is that you can launch all of their games from any launcher, but they all have distinct clients each on their separate sub-folders as I mentioned.
