However, recently, some efforts to burn a DVD do not complete. The progress how to make a dvd with powerdirector bar starts, and when this problem occurs, it always stops at 21% completion. I tried changing cyberlink powerdirector error codes the output to a folder on the hard drive and unchecked the box to burn the disc. The same thing occurs -- stops at 21%.

If you have customized the menu in any way, that may be the cause of your failure. I would guess there is nothing wrong with your videos on the timeline, PD never gets that far if you have an error at 21% You should try one of the default menus with no modification. You can try burning a folder with the No Menu option and see what happens. Be sure the the free space on the C drive is over 20 GB for DVD production or 100 GB for BluRay production. Any other drive does not matter, the free space must be C. This message was edited 1 time. Lower your burn speed Googled the error doesn't give us a lot to work with, looks to be a burn speed error. Dafydd Honesty disclosure: CyberLink have provided me their software products at no charge. This answered my question Reply Solution Chosen by Tina9999 Tina9999 Newbie Private Message Location: Northern CA Joined: Oct 12, 2012 23:38 Messages: 39 Offline Jul 10, 2013 05:53 Dafydd - deleted temp data, lowered burn speed, still can't get any dvds to burn, same error code. Wasting a lot of my expensive Verbatim dvds! This is a new problem and relates to several different music videos I've produced, which range from 24 mins to 45 mins long. Only thing that is slightly different from most my videos is I used Audio Director to compensate for bad sound systems at the concerts. Any other ideas? I really wanted to turn in these videos to the tv station tomorrow. Why do they give us a code if there is no way to research what it means? Also should mention I downloaded all the PD 11 patches in hopes that would fix, but no luck. Thanks! Tina This message was edited 2 times. Found that a "Verbatim DVD-DL 2.4x" disc works every time if I limit length to 3 hr, 30 min. I had trashed a fair number of disks until I stumbled upon Verbatim. I have since burned over 100 disks, all over 3 hours. \015\012I decided to try again with my added experience (limiting chapters, keeping recording speed low, etc.). Tried a Memorex DVD+R DL and got an error "burning failed: error code EB020b88".
