How To Install Diablo 3 Reaper Of Souls From Disc
Help Community Creations Barbarian Crusader Demon Hunter Monk Witch Doctor Wizard Blizzard Archive Bug Report Console Bug Report Technical Support Mac Technical Support Games & Technology Movies, Books, and TV Reply Heeby 8 posts Heeby Ignored Aug 28, 2013 Copy URL View Post So, I installed this game when it first came out and it ran with no problems whatsoever. After a year or so I had a fatal error how to install diablo 3 from disc with the Boot Device and had to reformat. Since reformatting, I haven't had any issues with any games (including WoW) except for Diablo 3.Now, after looking at the minimum requirement for the processor, it seems I actually don't meet it. So either Blizzard made the processor requirement higher from when the game first released, or I'm missing something.Required Processor: Intel Pentium® D 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4400+My Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHzI don't know much about hardware but I assume because 2.67 GHz is less than 2.8, that is the reason I am not able to install.Thing's I have already tried besides the Processor:1. Ran launcher as admin2. Windows Secondary Logon is set to Automatic3. Started Agent.exe manually before starting the launcher4. Under Agent.2045 I right clicked Agent.exe and went to Properties/Compatibility but for some reason "Run this program as administrator" is unchecked and also grayed out, so I cannot enable that option.Any help would be appreciated. Comments When trying to install Diablo 3 for the PC, a lot of people are getting a "Below Minimum Requirements" error when they try to install the game, even though they feel that they meet the minimum requirements listed on Battle.net.The issue that most people are having though (which it doesn't really specify in the error) isn't necessarily that you're below the actual minimum requirements, but that your operating system isn't up to date.If you look closely, the minimum requirements state that you need to have the latest service packs for Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.The latest service pack for each are:Windows 7 - Service Pack 1 Windows Vista - Service Pack 2 Windows XP - Service Pack 3Go to the Windows Service Pack Center to download the latest service pack for all three versions of Windows. If that doesn't fix your problem, then you may be below the minimum requirements, but this is a good first step either way, and it's always good to have your operating system up to date.If you're having problems getting the service pack to install on Windows XP or Windows Vista, check out the post below by TheHolst for a workaround. I too have this problem. I have tried every solution to be found in Microsofts own guide (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949377) I've tried Fix It (no luck) I've tried google and been to one forum after the other (No solution yet) It seems to me that there are no more options left… I'll write here IF I find a solution… But morale is low 🙁Reply TheDizle (site admin) saysMay 22, 2012 at 8:30 am It's a permissions issue like that article says.
