or through the Battle.net App, manually patching Agent—our update helper program—may resolve the issue. To manually update Agent, follow the steps below: WindowsMac Windows Download the Agent standalone patch files. Close any http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/5386227/ running Blizzard games and launchers (including the Battle.net App), and wait at least 30 seconds. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up your Task Manager, and check the Processes tab to be sure Agent.exe is not still running. Extract the standalone patch files to the following location. If you can't see the files listed below, show hidden files and folders first. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/6989 Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8,Windows 10: C:\ProgramData\Battle.net Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Battle.net Confirm that you want to merge and replace the files. Start the Battle.net App or game launcher again and try to patch normally. Mac Download the Agent standalone patch files. Quit any running Blizzard games and launchers (including the Battle.net App) and wait at least 30 seconds. Check your Activity Monitor to be sure Agent is not still running. Use Archive Utility to extract the standalone patch files to /Users/Shared/Battle.net Confirm that you want to merge and replace the files. Start the Battle.net App or game launcher again and try to patch normally.

Anyone else having this problem? # 23 Jan 13, 2016 Natryndon Hi guys.If this happens to you, the best thing to do is simply restart your computer and try again. If that doesn't work however, exit the game and Battle.net Desktop App then follow step 1 in this support article and test again. If you still see either the Diablo III client or Battle.net App still showing in Task Manager, you should close those too.Thanks.--------------------
