this article, for information on any ongoing issues. Try restarting your computer before continuing with the remaining steps. This is a quick way to close the Agent process and allow the desktop app to update it. Use a wired connection. Wired connections will almost always be more stable than wireless connections, and dropped data packets can cause your installation or patch to get stuck, or give you an error. Disable or

temporarily remove your security software. While your anti-virus program won’t usually prevent you from playing the game normally, it may prevent you from downloading new files and writing them to your hard drive. Make sure your operating system is up to date. The Windows Secondary Logon service must be enabled for Agent to run. Make sure the service is turned on. Malicious programs may interfere with the Battle.net Agent. Run a security scan to find and resolve any infections. Advanced Troubleshooting Agent files may be corrupted from a previous attempt. Delete the Battle.net Tools folder and open the Battle.net desktop app again to download a fresh version of Agent. Some advanced internet settings may prevent the Battle.net Agent from connecting to our servers. Temporarily disable your proxy settings. Make sure your network is set up properly to allow Agent to connect. Make sure both your internet browser and Adobe Flash Player are up to date. Both can affect the Battle.net Agent's ability to properly connect. The Battle.net Agent may not have updated properly, which may cause other patching issues. Whenever i attempt to log in (both when starting with and without the battle.net launcher), I am presented with the error "You have attempted to connect to an invalid server. Please exit the game, then try logging in again. (Code 520)"I've looked around online, but haven't been able to find a solution as of yet. Here's what I have tried so far:-Disabling all background applications (as suggested by https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/error-520 )-Reinstalling the game (several times).-Clearing battle.net cache (Battle.net and Blizzard folders in C:\ProgramData).-Disabling firewalls and antivirus.-Changing region in the battle.net launcher (both Americas, Asia and Europe).-Removing my authenticator (and reattaching it after unsuccessful login).-Changing DNS in my router.-Forwarding ports (TCP: 80, 1119 - UDP: 1119, 6120 - as suggested by https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/configuring-router-and-firewall-ports ).-Completely bypassing my router
having trouble logging into Diablo 3 again? Fret not, this latest downtime - unlike the problematic launch of the game - is intentional. https://gamerant.com/error-33-diablo-3-patch-robk-155724/ Blizzard posted on their official Diablo 3 forums this morning an update to let players know that the game will be unplayable for a hefty 10 hours as they run server maintenance in http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1119798-Diablo-3-Launcher-updating-Issues-Post-here preparations for the patch 1.0.3. This of course, again brings up the issue of forcing players to connect online to play a game that's largely single-player (read: DRM). We will be performing diablo 3 scheduled maintenance for Diablo III starting tomorrow (June 20) at 3:00 a.m. CEST in order to deploy patch 1.0.3. We anticipate that maintenance will conclude and that all services will be available by approximately 1:00 p.m. CEST. Important: Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 1.0.3 until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in diablo 3 not from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched. 10 hours of downtime is a long time even, if it's not during peak hours. While continued maintenance and patching are critical, the issue that's not going away remains - players are forced by Blizzard to connect to their servers to play the game, even if they want to play by themselves. No single-player, no LAN allowed. During maintenance, Diablo and Diablo II work, but during maintenance Diablo III - the fastest selling PC game ever - does not. If you don't want the patch, too bad. If you just want to play your video game, too bad. Whether you're okay with DRM or not, this practice is arguably anti-consumer (remember the rage over Ubisoft's PC games DRM?) and I know a few players myself who are begging for Blizzard to patch in non-online

I start the launcher and it doesn't show anything but the phrase "Updating Tools (0%)" at the bottom with no progress even after having it open all night and the Play button grayed out... Also when I tried to install Diablo 3 (real version) from battle.net I have it downloaded and installing it gets to a certain point halfway throughout the bar and stops with no further progress even after having it open an entire night as well... I would love to know why these programs are crapping out on me or if my computer is total garbage. Delete C:\ProgramData\Battle.net 2. cmd.exe as Admininistrator: type "Netsh winsock reset", reboot. 3. The installer/downloader/launcher rightclick properties > compatibility > change settings for all users > check run as winXP and run as admin. 4. rightlick program and run as admin, just to be sure. If that doesnt fix go C:\ProgramData\Battle.net, rightlick on empty space properties > security. Each group or usernames give full control in all options (the EDIT and Advanced buttons too). With this i was able to launch the launcher and start patching, logged in and played abit. I'm from EU and used the enUS client. Please post this on D3 tech support forums cus i cant.
