I cannot get my DVR to connect to my home network via wireless, keep getting the above error when running the connection test, even though the Network connection is ok. I am connecting my DVR to my home network via wireless and a Linksys Game Adaptor; and my home network is essentially wide open (I use MAC filtering but the MAC address for the DVR and the Linksys MAC's are both listed). WhenI look at my router is just wont give the DVR an IP address. I am at a loss. Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1 This appears to be a software problem with Directv. There are several threads discussing error 22 or internet connection problems in Directv's "On Demand" forum. I have the same problem. Directv referred me to the Geek Squad. The Geek Squad tech came to my house and determined that the problem was with Directv. He reported the problem to Directv over the phone. The Directv rep seemed already to be somewhat aware of the problem but had no immediate solution.
