When I try to acess any file in any DVD-data disk or try to plays any DVD-Video, I got I/O errors. The device is being mounted okay (manually and https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/118276 auto) in /dev/scd0. On Gentoo 2006.1 (with 2.6.17-r8, with the device being mounted on /dev/hdd) it works. Here's the output for 'dmesg': [ 138.860479] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized [ 2882.796054] end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 88 [ 2882.796067] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 11 [ 2882.796074] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 12 [ 2882.796078] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 13 [ 2882.796083] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 14 [ 2882.796086] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 15 [ 2882.796091] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 16 [ 2882.849381] end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 136 [ 2882.849396] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 17 [ 2882.892799] end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 144 [ 2882.892814] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 18 [ 2882.892827] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 19 [ 2882.89283
