When you tell EndNote to open a PDF, EndNote tells Windows to open the PDF. Something about the way the Adobe programs register with Windows how to open the PDF will cause the error. Currently the only resolution we have besides using a different PDF viewing program, is to create a Windows Batch file to open PDFs using the PDF software of your choice. While this may seem redundant, it seems to be the onl

I get the following error when I open the old link 'This URL (/Users/afagan/Documents/Endnote/Full text/Bone research/W/Wang Characterization of the Scoliosis after pinealectomy in the Chicken.pdf) could not be launched.' The URL in the error message is correct: it. So I don't know quite how to use 'change text' to correct the path for all the references as I have seen suggested in an earlier post. Surely I don't have to manually re enter al

This folder was created when you created your EndNote library, and also contains your Groups information. When you moved your EndNote library you should have moved this folder with it. You need to find this folder - it should still be where your EndNote library originally was before you moved things around. Cut (or copy) and paste the .Data folder into the location where your EndNote library currently is.
